I’m delighted to have you here in one of the most beautiful cities in the world — a place where history, nature, and modern life come together across 14 islands. As your guide, my goal is to help you feel at home while discovering the stories, sights, and hidden corners that make Stockholm so special.
Whether we’re walking through medieval streets, cruising along the waterways, or enjoying a local café, I look forward to sharing this city with you. Let’s explore Stockholm together and create memories you’ll take with you long after your visit.
About Me

My name is Dora Salamon Hedlund. I love traveling and I am jealous. I am jealous because you are arriving in a wonderful city, and maybe this is your first time here, but it is also possible that you have been here before and there are still places you haven't seen. The magic of discovery is something you can never experience enough. I would love to be your companion, even if only for a few hours. I'm not the kind of guide who knows everything about everything and fills your time with facts and figures. I'll show you the city's special features and atmosphere, and take you to great photo spots.
Whether it’s the grandeur of the Royal Palace, the medieval charm of the Old Town, the rich variety of Skansen, or the timeless authenticity of the Vasa Museum, or any of the many other amazing sites I would be delighted to guide you through it all. My aim is to inform, entertain, and above all, inspire—so that you leave beautiful Stockholm eager to return and experience it all again.
I’m a well-traveled Swedish Hungarian who has called Stockholm home for the last 30 years.
Hungarian is my mother tongue. English is a close second. Swedish is in third place. I understand German well but the conversation level is rather rusty.
My accreditation as an Authorized Stockholm Guide hangs proudly alongside my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Stockholm’s unique cityscape blends nature and urban life in a way that few places can. With me as your guide, we can explore not only the classic and much-loved city walks and panoramic bus or car tours, but also hike through lush parks, bike along vibrant streets and scenic waterfronts, or even kayak between the islands—all right in the heart of the city. Whatever you envision for your tour, I’d be delighted to craft an experience tailored just for you!
